Eclipse Photos

I set the camera ([livejournal.com profile] teeka's, because mine's in the shop and I forgot to borrow the new one from work) up on the tripod looking out the bedroom window (so that I didn't have to go outside every 15 minutes to re-aim), using manual focus, with a towel clipped to the curtain and hanging down over the camera to minimize glare from house lights.

Except for the time-lapse controller dropping off line right in the middle of the eclipse, it worked fairly well.

No image post-processing, the camera in full auto, and -1.0 to -2.0 EV compensation. Images are cropped to frame the moon, but otherwise at original resolution. I probably could have tweaked the camera more for better pictures, but I didn't feel like fiddling that much.
