I picked up the truck from the transmission place today (after forking out a big pile of tax return money).
Went home via Chang Jiang on Gammon. Ate dinner. Went to run some errands (we're behind on some shopping after no truck for a week).
Stopped at the hardware store, picked up more fire extinguishers*. I headed from there to Woodman's East, but right after I turned onto Anderson, the O/D OFF light started to blink.
This usually isn't a good sign, but it doesn't automatically mean something bad happened, it just means that there's something that needs to be checked (it's like the CHECK ENGINE light, but for your transmission).
Tomorrow morning I'll call the transmission place and see what they want me to do.
*Over the weekend I moved the basement fire extinguisher to Teeka's side of the garage so that we each had one out there. That meant I needed a new one for the basement, but I also got a spare one for upstairs, since they recommend one per 600 sq. ft. I think we have 9 now - three for the house, two for the garage, one for
teeka's trailer, one in the camper, one in the truck, and one more in a box somewhere that we use for shows.
