While it's probably not a good idea to threaten your boss with throwing away all his stuff, it apparently worked. He had his grad student working today on moving chemicals and cleaning out fume hoods.

Knowing how the guy works, I made sure to stay away from the lab all day. That way I don't feel the need to keep chewing him out for all the unsafe and/or dumb things he's doing.
