Today, the College of Engineering had their first-ever staff appreciation day, which they plan to make an annual event. One of the things they did was to announce all of the faculty and staff awards (for both campus and College). I had been in the running for the academic staff award, but word is that I didn't get it because they gave it to the guy who is retiring this summer.

It's ok, we'll try again next year.

In other news, my replacement camera shipped today, so I should have it Thursday or Friday.
