Valentine's Day

In the never-ending quest to find a "different" gift for teeka, last Friday I heard a news item that said that the Circus World Museum was offering a dozen Long-stemmed Red Noses as a fund raiser. They didn't rerun that item when Maggs was downstairs, so later that day, I ordered her a set. Then, I ordered her mom a set, as Bobbie's an even bigger circus nut than teeka. I also ordered regular flowers for my mom.

Sunday I noticed that I had been charged for three sets of noses, so Monday I called and left them voicemail about it. Susan from CircusWorld called me back Monday to say they only had one order listed. I faxed them a copy of my bank statement showing the three charges, and copies of the order confirmation emails, and they recreated the missing order (which was for teeka's noses), and all was supposed to be well.

Bobbie got hers on Wednesday and immediately called teeka to thank her, which meant that they both new about them. Yesterday Bobbie got a second set. Hopefully teeka'll get hers today.

I also apologize for not telling anyone about this, but, if I posted it in my lj, then teeka'd have seen it.
