Today was the Bailey Family Reunion. Maggs & I went, along with the in-laws (it's my mother-in-law's side of the family).

We took a lot of pictures, and then, being the geeks we are, started printing them at the park for people. If I haven't said this before, the Epson PictureMate Deluxe Viewer Edition rocks. We printed about 100 pics, used a $29 media kit doing so, and got about $25 in donations for people for the pics.

A lot of people were amazed at the picture quality. They were also really pleased by the fact that we both know how to take pics, and by our even bringing a tripod so we could do timer shots and get the whole clan into a group photo.

Next year, if we do this the same way, we need more larger memory cards, and a second printer (they're cool, but a little slow). I have a 1GB card as the main card, and carry 3x16MB of spares (they're the starter cards). Maggs has a 512MB card we just bought and a 64MB card, and somewhere in the house there is another 256MB card, but we haven't seen it for a year or so.
