It's become a day for erranding.
I had an 8:15 dentist appointment. I got home about 11:30, having also stopped at Farm & Fleet and Woodman's. This afternoon there's another expedition planned to the west side.
I stopped at Farm & Fleet for new boots, having pretty much completely worn out my old ones. I bought these, and described them to the cashier as "full of stompy goodness." She'd never heard that as a description (why would anyone buy work boots that didn't have stompy goodness?), but it amused her, and she was going to use it again today.
Then I went to Woodman's. We really haven't been home much for the last few weeks, so there really wasn't much food left in the house. For what it's worth, there were two fire trucks in the parking lot (and two gangs of firemen, each buying their snacks and the ingredients for whichever meal they were cooking) and a group of four nuns also each buying a full cartload of stuff.
