The Shock and Ow factor
Jul. 13th, 2004 12:03 pmIn addition to the fact that it's supposed to be scattered intense thunderstorms today, and the predicted high of 87 with a heat index of 95, last night she tripped on the stairs and banged her knee hard (I heard the thump and the scream from upstairs and flew down to where she was on the landing to the garage stairs).
She spent most of the rest of the evening with her knee up and iced. This morning she's moving ok, but we both felt it wouldn't hurt to skip the bike ride for a day and let her knee recover. This morning, she didn't think it was as bad a bump as she thought last night, but that last night the shock and ow of the injury was a little unsettling.
