Stupid washer
Dec. 14th, 2006 08:49 pmThe washer leaks. It's not a huge leak, but it would be better if it were a much smaller (or nonexistent) leak. I watched it run the other day, and figured out that it leaks when the bleach dispenser cycles (the washer flushes it into the drum).
I forgot about it until today when I was going to do some laundry. Instead of doing laundry, I took the washer apart and discovered that one end of one of the bleach dispenser hoses is broken. I called Sears parts and they can't find the hose. I looked online, and the part doesn't exist. It's not in any of the diagrams, and the part number on the hose doesn't exist in the parts computer.
If you're interested, I need this hose. It goes here. I sent pictures of it, where it goes in the washer, and the model number tag of the washer to sears via email, and am waiting to see if they find it. In the meantime, I may try to silicone it into place. Or let it leak, and do my laundry anyway.
