Projects Update

It's been a home improvement weekend.

So far we've: put a phone in the garage, added some landscape lights (Menard's has 4-packs of LED solar lights for $15) at the end of the driveway and by the side door to the garage, added an outdoor thermometer to measure outdoor temp (the other outdoor thermometer measures studio temp), put up the exhaust hood over teeka's torch station, added a heat lamp under Teeka's torch station to keep her feet warm, framed in the doorway for the dust collector closet (and picked up a door), refilled the water softener with salt, and started running exhaust duct between the hood and the collector.

I think I missed something on that list, but I'm not sure what.

Now all I need to do is find my tin snips....

I swear when I get out and buy a house I"m just gonna buy you and Maggs plane tickets... I figure it will be cheaper to buy y'all plane tickets to come see me, and then the materials, than it would be to try and do it myself and screw it up 600 times and start over.

(I'm probably gonna be putting down wood floors at the very least)

What you really need to do is buy the whole clan tickets. I swear, when they get together and start moving, they're faster than the guys on 'Extreme Makeover Home Edition'. It's exhausting to watch them all.

I'm sure you could get a volume discount on plane tickets.

You also put up the magnetic strip for my tool rack. And bought weather stripping and a sweep for my door (altho I'm betting those get installed as tomorrow's project.
