Fax Machines

I've just been directed to buy a new fax machine for work.

Does anyone have any recommendations (brands/models/features/...)? I'm limited by state contract as to which ones I should buy, and I want to stay with plain paper, laser, and assignable user access codes.

Our old machine is a 7-year old Canon LC5500, and it is having connectivity issues, and doesn't want to send or receive complete faxes (they all fail after about a minute of connect time)

I'm not sure about access codes, but I just bought three Sharp FO-2950M machines, they have parallel interfaces for a lot of the management functions and routable receipt.
