Noises you dont want to hear

revchrisI'm sitting at the computer this morning, checking the mail, and I hear one of those "That's gonna be bad!" noises:
"Crack! Crack! [tree falling noise]"
Several times. And the cats all run and hide.
One of the neighbors across the street and down a few houses had half of a really big maple come down. He and his neighbor both had it land on their garages, but after initial checks, they don't think that there is major damage.
