Farmer's Market

They're predicting lots of rain all day, and teeka is extra tired and hurty today, so we're going to stay home.

Of course, since I have ham and chicken and andouille and brisket and chorizo and shrimp and rice and green peppers and celery and onions and rice, I'm probably making jambalaya later, too.

ETA: apparently, looking at the list, it's going to take extra rice.

I'm extra tired and hurty today, too. Stupid rain.

I don't know if it's a problem or not, but I've never been able to make a small batch of jambalaya. Last time I changed pots three times in order to make it all fit.

I'm going to start with at least a pound or two of each kind of meat, a couple of green peppers, several onions, a head of celery, and go from there.

i spent my day dealing with a leaky studio roof (and walls!) and then catching up on studio stuff at home while jeffreyp and his dad looked at electrical stuff.
