... And now, I need to take pictures of everything.

I spent part of lunch walking around outside randomly shooting pictures of people & stuff. Now I'm going to shoot equipment pictures and some pics of one of the lab classes.

Then I'm going to look at them all later tonight and see how much better they look than the old camera.

I can 100% assure you that they'll look *bigger* (or at least more detailed). :-) Everything beyond that is up to you. :-p

I'm expecting bigger. I'd be surprised if they weren't.

So far today, I've taken 100+ pics and run down a full battery charge, and have somehow managed to cause all more more recent outdoor shots to be incredibly overexposed, even in the 'full auto' user mode A. I'm going to actually read the directions on the way home tonight and see if I can find an answer.

I checked, and I already have firmware v1.1, which is the newest one listed on the web site.

Oh, and look on Nikon's web site to make sure you've got the newest firmware. With cameras, newer is *almost* always better.
