I was going to post this yesterday.

It was my turn to cook, so I made
( Lasagna for a small army )

Froze a lot of lasagna today, and plan to vacuum-pack most of it once it's frozen.

Going to the RenFaire tomorrow. It's closing day, and we plan to be there all day because we haven't made it to the fair at all this season.

Since I had the camera out (taking pix of teeka, who is sleeping on the bed next to my computer, and who'd kill me if I posted them), I took a pic of my desk to show the cat ramp, as I had been asked about it earlier.

It is basically a carpeted board that goes from my desktop to the top of the card catalog (which, if you're a crafty-type person makes a really good storage case for a lot of stuff). The box under the right end is a later addition because the cats didn't like going down the ramp because it was too steep. Teeka also gave me crap for carpeting it, until I explained that her cat slid down it the first time (before I had the carpeting on it).

You can't see it, but at the end of the ramp (ie - on the side of the box) is the DSL modem, which I put there to keep it from always getting knocked off the computer that's just to the right of my desk. I makes a really good set of warning lights at night because the status lights are all pointing up right at the end of the ramp.

In the pic, both cats are shown. Marley is on the towel at the bottom of the ramp and Jackie is the black blob on top of the card catalog (there's a food bowl up there).
