I fixed the washing machine last night. I'm not sure exactly what was wrong, but I think that whatever was probably stuck in the pump impeller got washed out when I disconnected the discharge hose and the last few inches of water in the tub drained out (and flushed the pump in the process). Then I put it all back together (the whole thing's basically held together with two screws), and ran through the diagnostics - there was an 8-page 'For Service Technicians's Use Only' booklet inside the controls with all the diagnostic and troubleshooting directions.

Then I went upstairs, and teeka was reading a book

so I went over to nest door and got her ren garb from snakewyfe&ringsnake's, ran it through our washer (which was the third washing, since the first two times through S&R's washer hadn't gotten all the mud out), and then threw her outer dress in the dryer and washer her chemise a fourth time, but with bleach.

And why, you may ask, did it take four washings? Cotswold ended sunday with a mud fight.

The two women in the fight cast started fighting in the mud Saturday night as a spontaneous thing. Sunday, they planned it, and managed to pull in four of the fight cast guys, and then teeka jumped in, and they pulled in a few more of the regulars as well.

There's a lot of pictures (I took 250 on Saturday and 300 on Sunday), but as I was uploading these few, my computer locked up, and my hard drive is making unhappy noises. I got all the pics copied off this morning to the other drive, but until I get the computer fixed I wont be able to process any more of the pics.

That first picture is the sort that gets a fella killed a lot. :-)

That last picture is pretty hot, in a muddy kind of way.
