1 down, 8,000 to go
Jun. 5th, 2004 12:39 pmShe found one that was "willing" to "play:"

Of course, these games only last so long:

About then is when I came outside, so she put down her toy and came over so I could tell her she was a good kitty, and then take her inside, dose her with flea stuff, and let her take a nap (playing is apparently hard work).
In other news, we just bought wheels for Teeka's cart, and it looks like I'm going to need to weld up a base frame to mount them too. In order to get a high enough load rating, the trailer guy at Budget Bike recommended structural frame on both sides of the wheel so that they weren't cantilevered out on the axle, sort of like how the Burley flatbed trailer is set up.
Then, if we're going to go with a welded lower frame, I might as well go with a commercial hitch, and a standard burley hitch kit, plus the 'alternative hitch' kit so that Teeka can hook it up to her bike, which, since we'll have two hitch points, should allow me to put one on each of our bikes.
