that the phrase "I'm going to put this someplace safe" means I'll never see it again.

A month or two I found the adapter for the airbed inflator somewhere separate from inflator pump. I still know where the pump is. The adapter, however, is now "some place safe" but not with the pump, the airbed, or the tote that everything usually stores in.

What, you don't want to sleep on the floor up there? Wuss! *looks out so that [livejournal.com profile] teeka doesn't kill me*

Oh, and I've just about got a new web site ready for her.

It still inflates - it's just more awkward since you have to hold the inflator up to the fill spout. And, now that I've found and patched a (and I hope the only) leak, it'll even stay filled with air. It has (had, hopefully) a slow leak, and would blead out so that you hit the floor after 5-6 hours.

I'm not going to tell her about the web site, since she's basically given up on you ever providing one, and that way when you tell her about it it'll be a surprise.
