Mar. 24th, 2005 03:50 pmMy office computer is still broke. So far today, I've had 15 blue screens with 8 different stop codes. Right now I'm on the phone with Dell playing 'Stump the Technician' and am currently winning against both the L1 phone lady and her L2 backup.
For the geeky, so far I've had codes 0A, 28, 50, 7E, 7F, 8E, BE and D1. I'm hoping for a whole new computer at this point, since I'm even getting BSODs trying to get into safe mode (and I've already reinstalled XPPro twice since replacing the HD, Mobo, and ram).

Date: 2005-03-24 11:55 pm (UTC)I also pulled the extra sound card and video card that came with the computer so as to try everything first with the built-ins.
One thing I need to call them tomorrow about is I notices that the four simms they installed with the new mobo come from three different manufacturers. I don't know that that's a problem, but its as good a guess as any right now.
