I just called Dell again. Now they're sending me a new CPU, and I may eventually get new ram from them again (the last time they sent me four simms from three manufacturers, so if we run out of other idea, they'll probably send me a matched set).

My thumb is recovering. I unwrapped it, cleaned it up, and rebandaged it last night. The whole gash fits under two bandaids, and seems to be healing ok.

You should get a new chassis (or at least power supply) too. And some Dell swag. Well... no point in that, when would you not be embarrased to wear it?

I know they're usually the low-cost provider, but... geez. Quality? Nope.
