revchrisI went grocery shopping today. I should have brought my camera.
When I got to Woodman's, they had repaved the first section of the parking lot and were starting on the second. They appear to be grinding up the old paving and then laying a new bed and raising the lot as they go. In the middle of the ground-up section of the lot is one untouched parking space with a beat-up old car parked in it, with a red abandoned vehicle sticker on the window.
Then, while I was loading everything into the truck, a guy on a motorcycle parked next to me. I had to ask him what the rack on the back of the bike was for. He told me that it's for his bicycle. I, of course, asked him if that was in case he ran out of gas. He said it was mostly for the Wednesday Night Rides.
