Neighbors

The city was flushing hydrants in our neighborhood tonight.

While I was getting the camera to take a picture, the guy from the city came back to shut things off, so I didn't have time to get a pic of one of the neighbors, who was driving back and forth in the spray, apparently using it for a free car wash. Of course, knowing some of my neighbors, I hope they had their windows closed.

Hey! Totally unrelated, but when would be a good weekend for wing and corset building?

This weekend. Show up Saturday, help me make deepfryable foodstuffs for our Saturday night party, we can plan things and then do some parts acquisition and building on Sunday. Next weekend we're at Stronghold, the weekend after that (Oct 8-9), we've got a wedding reception Saturday night and Cotswold on Sunday. We're also at Cotswold on the 16th (the third Sunday in October). Otherwise we're not starting anything until the weekend of the 23rd.

Did you want butterfly wings, dragonfly wings, or something else? I have an idea for making them, but I need a base wing type.
