Zombie Books?

I just got this email:

Christopher,

A colleague and I are currently researching and writing a scholarly
book on zombies. I am writing to ask if you would be willing to grant us
use of some of the your photos of the Madison Zombie Lurch 2005? The book
is probably two years from being complete, so if we use the photos, it
probably wouldn't be for about three years (that's how the publishing biz
works). However, I thought it would be best to get permission now, if you
don't mind.

I replied (after a quick consult with alyska) saying that I didn't see a problem with this, but I wanted to know how he was going to use the photos, and what rights he was interested in.
