Notes from today
Dec. 28th, 2005 10:00 pmA few things from today:
1) If you, as a faculty member, can't figure out how to electronically post grades (something you've done before) until I come by and point out that you've got the web site set for next semester, whereupon you realize that the list of courses displayed doesn't contain the courses you taught this semester, don't complain to me that the recent redesign of the web page is the fault of your problem.
2) "Pure Science" types (and potentially crazy nuts) are perfectly happy when the experiment goes completely wrong as long as they can find something in the rubble of the setup that they can use to show that they learned something (even if it does not support their base concept).
3) Having the trailer power connector fall out of where it was tucked up under the bumper and drag on the road all the way from Appleton to Madison is not really conducive to proper operation of said part in the future. Replacing said part at 9pm in a light drizzle is no fun either.
