Got up early, took
teeka to Farmer's Market where she and
alyska spent a day in the cold selling stuff.
While she was out, I started doing laundry, but then the leaky drain on the laundry tub finally fell apart, so I spent most of the day replacing it (including three trips to the hardware store - twice for more parts because of my mistakes, and once for parts because the original tailpieces on the tub weren't long enough). I ran a load of laundry, and once I replace the tail pieces and fix the one leaky glue joint, all should be good.
Then I picked up Teeka, dropped her and her trailer off at home, reloaded the truck, and was off to Milwaukee for Family Construction Weekend at Lois'. I got there in time to help
misteropinion finish replacing the garbage disposal, and then it was time for dinner.
After dinner I chopped a lot of plaster out of Lois' dining room walls and ceiling (there had been a leak, but we think it's fixed now, so we removed all the cracked, water damaged, and possibly moldy plaster). Tomorrow we put up vapor barrier, several layers of drywall (to build up to the plaster thickness), tape, mud, and then leave, leaving Lois to sand and add more mud, because it takes ~24 hours for each coat to dry properly.
Now, off to bed.
