Slept in today, didn't get going until about noon. Then spent 4 hours raking, trimming, mowing, and cleaning gutters. There's a section of lawn that still needs mowing, but I'm waiting for the ice to melt first. [livejournal.com profile] misteropinion gave us his trimmer last weekend, so I finally trimmed everything (haven't done it since we moved in). I need to remember to get more line - I went through a lot of it clearing all the weeds growing up through the cracks in the concrete at several places in the sidewalk (if I get rid of it now, then it's gone when I have to shovel snow). We drained all of the hoses in case it freezes before we use them again, but left them out so they can be used.

Moved the bikes from the garage to the basement. Now my side of the garage has enough room to move around in, and I can do more work on organizing things.

Yesterday Cam brought over the old gaming table (as the gaming group grew, I built a sequence of larger tables), and we put it in the library downstairs. It's 4'x6', so it currently holds a jigsaw puzzle, and whichever cat is helping.

Now, I'm working on play money for this year's History of the World party. Every year (usually) gets a new series of play money. Last year we re-used an older set because I didn't have time to make new ones. The year before we were all riverboat gamblers, and I printed $1,000,000 in play money. I need to remind Janet to give me back last year's money (for some reason, the first time they were used, I hand-sequenced the serial numbers, so I had to continue that on the re-issue), as I'd like my play money deck back.

It's not bad. Or, at least, not once I fixed the feed spools - one of them had the spool-end tail looped over most of the line, instead of under, so it had stopped feeding one of the two lines after only a few bounces.

That always tricky and I'm sure that somebody else refilled it last. Glad you got it sorted, tho. I always loved the way I could wade into a giant weed-patch and walk out covered in green pulp. The Death of Weeds... :-)
