Always look behind you

People wonder some days why I always carry my camera around everywhere.
If you don't have a camera, how can you take the really cool pictures?

While waiting for the bus tonight, I turned around to look behind me, and there was a gorgeous red/purple sunset happening over the buildings. I took a bunch of pics, and this was the best of them.
Yesterday as I was walking to work, I saw this bird on the lawn in front of work, but before I could get the camera out, it flew off. Fortunately, it only flew into the tree next to the sidewalk, where it was happy to let me take a few pictures, put on the big flash, and take a few more. It was really good at waiting until I was pushing the shutter button to turn from profile to looking right at me.
I also carry my camera so that I have it at work, because work really needs a better camera, and this way, I don't have to figure out who has the camera when I need to document something.
